Use Metadata Command Center to configure a catalog source for Microsoft SQL Server and run the catalog source job.
When you configure a catalog source, you define the source system that you want to extract metadata from. Configure filters to include or exclude source system metadata before you run the job. Optionally, configure other capabilities, such as data profiling and quality, data classification, relationship discovery, and glossary association.
To provide stakeholders access to technical assets, you can assign access through roles. To view lineage for any system that the source system references, create a catalog source and a connection associated with the referenced source system after you run the job.
