Before you create a catalog source, ensure that you have the information required to connect to the source system.
Perform the following tasks:
•Install the Secure Agent on the same Windows machine where you installed the Strategy software. For more information about Secure Agent installation, see Runtime Environments in Cloud Common Services help.
•Assign the required permissions.
•Verify authentication.
•Get the database source information to connect to the source system.
•Create endpoint catalog sources for connection assignment.
