Before you create a catalog source, ensure that you have the information required to connect to the source system.
Perform the following tasks:
•Ensure you have access to the company ID, user name, and service URL of your SAP SuccessFactors account.
•Prepare the following details for authentication types:
- For HTTP basic authentication, get the SuccessFactors user name and password.
- For OAuth 2.0 authentication, register an OAuth 2.0 client application authorized to access the OData API, and obtain the private key and associated API credentials.
•If your organization uses an outgoing proxy server to connect to the Internet, configure the Secure Agent to connect to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services through the proxy server.
•Create a connection to the SAP SuccessFactors source system in Administrator.
•Ensure that you have the administrator role in your SAP SuccessFactors account.
