Introduction to SAP Table Connector

You can integrate data with SAP at the data-level by using SAP Table Connector.
To read data from SAP tables that have been created under the customer namespace, you can use an SAP Table Connector connection.
You can read data from transparent tables, cluster tables, pool tables, views, and ABAP CDS views. The Secure Agent accesses data through the application layer in SAP using ABAP. Data is streamed to the Secure Agent through the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. SAP Table Connector supports joins and filters on the source tables.
You can also use SAP Table Connector to read data from an SAP ADSO object.
To optimize performance when the Secure Agent and the SAP system are in different networks, you can enable data compression when you read data from SAP.
When you create a mapping, mapping task, or data transfer task, Data Integration generates a dynamic ABAP query to read from SAP tables.
