The April 2026 release of Data Marketplace includes the following changed behavior.
Enhancements to custom layouts
When you modify an item with a custom layout applied, Data Marketplace displays only the attributes that are also visible outside edit mode.
The following items have a consistent experience between view and edit modes:
•Category
•Consumer access
•Data asset
•Data collection
Previously, in edit mode, Data Marketplace displayed all configured attributes for an item, including the attributes that were excluded from the custom layout.
Auto-population of asset type descriptions
When you import assets from Data Governance and Catalog, asset type descriptions are auto-populated from the source. The asset type descriptions provide context that is consistent with the source.
Previously, asset type descriptions were inconsistent with the integration source.
Unique tab for each data collection request
When you request a new data collection, Data Marketplace opens a new tab for each request.
Previously, opening a new data collection request while one was already open in a tab would cause Data Marketplace to update the existing tab.
