The April 2025 release of Business 360 Console includes the following important notice.
Dropped support
Effective in the April 2025 release, Informatica dropped support for the following functionalities:
•The ability to enable auto-suggestions for system fields.
•The ability to search for records with similar values in system fields. However, you can search for records that exactly match the system field values and continue to use the supported wildcards in the search string for system fields.
•The option to include an empty string, "", or * in the entityType parameter of the Search REST API to search for records across all business entities.
Upcoming change
We want to let you know that by July 2025 or later, to enable system fields as searchable, you need to set at least one basic or smart field in a business entity as searchable.
To prepare for the change, ensure that all your business entities have at least one basic or smart field set as searchable. After the change, you must reindex the business entities.
Informatica intends to include this functionality in July 2025 or later but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
Preview initiated
Effective in the April 2025 release, the following functionalities are available for preview:
•When you create a reference data asset, you can now specify a unique internal ID for the reference data asset.
For more information about creating reference data assets, see Create reference data.
•When you migrate assets, MDM SaaS uses internal IDs, aliases, and then names to identify reference data assets.
Previously, MDM SaaS used asset names to identify reference data assets.
•If a picklist in business applications contains more than 200 values, a dialog box opens with a list of picklist values. A picklist can contain more than 10,000 values.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
