Data Quality includes the following new features and enhancements.

Public REST APIs for rule specification assets

You can expose a rule specification asset as an API and design a custom endpoint for the API. To enable a rule specification as an API and design a custom API endpoint, import the rule specification to API Center. When you publish an API endpoint through API Manager, you can invoke the endpoint and integrate the rule specification capabilities with your application.

Enhancements to parse assets

The July 2025 release includes the following enhancements to user-defined patterns in pre-built parsing mode:

•You can assign multiple patterns to a single output field. Use the Custom Token option on the output field to assign the patterns.
•You can import a pattern.
•You can download a pattern as a Microsoft Excel file.
•You can add a row to a pattern, and you can sort the rows in your pattern by the output column names.
•You can switch to full-screen mode while you define a pattern.

Source control

You can compare two versions of a source-controlled asset from the Explore page. You can compare the current version to an older version or compare two older versions.
