The November 2024 release includes changes in behavior for the following connectors.

Adabas CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Datacom CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Db2 for i CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Db2 for LUW CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Db2 for z/OS CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

IDMS CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

IMS CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Microsoft SQL Server CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

MySQL CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Oracle CDC V2 Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

PostgreSQL CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

SAP HANA CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.

Snowflake Data Cloud Connector

Effective in this release, if you stop a CDC mapping task enabled with recovery strategy that writes changed data from a CDC source to a Snowflake target or if the task terminates unexpectedly, you can restart the task from the beginning.
Previously, if you attempted to restart the task from the beginning, it failed.

VSAM CDC Connector

You can use the Cold Start option for tasks that have Snowflake targets.
