Data Quality includes the following new features and enhancements.
Rule specification properties in advanced mode
You can define the data properties for an output on a rule set in advanced mode. Find the properties in the Rule Properties dialog box, which you can open from the toolbar.

Custom dimensions in Data Quality assets
Custom dimensions that users create in Metadata Command Center now appear in Data Quality assets along with the built-in data quality dimensions. If a custom dimension is updated in Metadata Command Center, the updated dimension appears in Data Quality. If a dimension is deleted in Metadata Command Center, you'll see a warning message when you review a Data Quality asset that uses the deleted dimension.

Verifier assets
The November release includes the following enhancements to verifier assets:
New enrichments for Australia addresses
Address verification can identify the Local Government Area in which an Australian address is located. To identify the Local Government Area, select the Local Government Area Name and Local Government Area Code output fields in the verifier asset. The address verification reference data for Australia includes the Local Government Area information.

New alias handling option
You can return the alias for an address element in its abbreviated form if the reference data contains the abbreviation. To return the abbreviated alias, select Abbreviation in the AliasHandling property.
