The following topics provide information about tasks that you might need to perform before or after an upgrade of Data Integration Connectors. Post-upgrade tasks for previous monthly releases are also included in case you haven't performed these tasks after the previous upgrade.
Post-upgrade tasks for the November 2024 release
Perform the following tasks after your organization is upgraded to the November 2024 release.
Google BigQuery V2 Connector
After the upgrade, an existing mapping in SQL ELT mode imports the Record data type as struct and the Repeat mode as array when you use a custom query as the source.
Previously, the mapping failed at runtime.
To resolve this issue, remove the fields with the Record data type or Repeat mode from the custom query, and re-run the mapping.
Snowflake Data Cloud Connector
Effective in this release, to use a mapping enabled for SQL ELT optimization to write data from an Amazon S3 source to a Snowflake target with storage integration enabled for Amazon S3, you need to specify the Amazon S3 storage integration name in the Snowflake target connection properties.
Previously, the mapping ran without storage integration. If you had specified the Google Cloud Storage or Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 storage integration name in the connection properties, the mapping ignored the storage name and the mapping passed successfully without using Amazon S3 storage integration.
After the upgrade, existing mappings fail if you specified the Google Cloud Storage or Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 storage integration in the Snowflake target connection properties. To run the mappings successfully with storage integration enabled for Amazon S3, specify a valid S3 storage integration name in the Snowflake target connection properties.
