Asset and feature privileges for MCP servers

MCP servers use some AI Agent Engineering asset and feature privileges that allow users to access specific functionality. You can view the privileges associated with a user role when you view the details for a role from the User Roles page in Administrator.

Asset privileges

The following table describes the AI Agent Engineering asset privileges related to MCP servers:
Asset privilege
Description
Deployed MCP Server
Allows users to create, read, update, delete, run, or set permissions on composite deployed MCP server instances.
MCP Server

You can enable these asset and feature privileges when you create a custom role in Administrator. By default, these privileges are assigned to the Admin and Designer system-defined roles.
