If you are assigned the Deployer or Admin role, you can edit the design of a managed API that is published and created from a designed API. When you accept the updates, the updates will immediately impact the deployed managed API at run time.
1On the API Console page, click the Managed APIs tab.
The Updates Available icon under the Published API Name column denotes that an update is available for the managed API. You can view, compare, and accept the available updates.
2Click the Actions menu on the row of the managed API and select View Updates.
The View and Compare Updates dialog box appears.
The changes that you incorporated in the designed API appear on the Common Operations tab. Similarly, all added and deleted operations of the designed API appear on the Added Operations and Deleted Operations tabs.
3Click Accept Updates to accept all the changes.
The managed API page appears.
4Review and verify the changes, and then click Save.
The managed APIs retain their existing API policies and operation-level policies for existing operations while applying the updates.
If validation errors occur, the Validation panel appears. Fix all errors listed on the Validation panel and click Save again. API Center saves the managed API.
The Updates Available icon under the Published API Name column disappears indicating that all the updates are deployed at run time.
