Changed behavior

The October 2023 release of Business 360 Console includes the following changed behaviors:

Stop a match and merge job

You can stop a match and merge job that's in progress. After you stop a job, you can't restart or resume the stopped job.
Previously, you couldn't stop a running match and merge job.
For more information about stopping a match and merge job, see Stopping a Job.

Business entity record fields

You can now add up to 15 business entity record fields to a business entity. You don't have the minimum requirement of two business entity fields for a business entity.
Previously, you required a minimum of two business entity record fields for a business entity.
For more information about adding business entity record fields, see Define the Data Model.

Custom user role privileges

You can now manually assign attribute-level privileges when you assign record-level privileges. You can fine-tune the attribute-level privileges without dependance on the record-level privileges. These changes are also applicable when you configure privileges for multiple assets.
Previously, when you assigned record-level privileges, attribute-level privileges were automatically assigned.
For more information about assigning privileges for custom user roles, see Managing privileges for custom user roles.

Validation messages

The validation messages are now grouped based on the record-level and attribute-level privileges that are missing and they appear separately within the Records and Attributes tabs. You can also view the list of field groups that miss dependent privileges in the attribute-level validation messages. Clicking these field groups directs you to the missing privileges that are highlighted.
Previously, all the validation messages appeared together and weren't on separate tabs. You could also click the entire message to view the missing privileges.
For more information about validation messages, see Segregation and validation of record and field privileges.

Privileges for multiple business entities

When you select business entities without fields to configure privileges for multiple assets, you now get a message. The message lists the business entities without fields.
Previously, when you selected business entities without fields, a message didn't appear and the privileges that you assigned weren't applied to these business entities.
For more information about configuring privileges for multiple assets, see Configure privileges for multiple assets.
