Ensure that you have the license to create custom user roles in Administrator. Before you configure privileges for custom user roles in Business 360 Console, ensure that you assign relevant privileges for those custom user roles in Administrator.
Note: When you create custom user roles in Administrator, use unique names that don't match any predefined user roles. If you create custom user roles with names that match the predefined user roles, Business 360 Console doesn't display these user roles on the Security page.

Assign required permissions for a custom user role:
- Execute Business 360 Flows. Indicates whether a user can execute tasks in your business applications. For example, you can create records and import data into Customer 360.
- Manage Authorization Configuration. Indicates whether the user role can configure privileges for the custom user roles in Business 360 Console.
MDM Configuration

Assign required permissions at the asset level and then fine-tune the permissions on the Security page of Business 360 Console. The following assets are available on the Security page:
- Business Entities. Indicates whether the user role can create, read, update, and delete business entities in Business 360 Console.
- Relationships. Indicates whether the user role can create, read, update, and delete relationships in Business 360 Console.
Application Integration
Assets
Application Integration Assets. Indicates whether the user role can execute tasks in your business 360 applications and in the Business 360 Console. For example, you can create records and import data into Customer 360.
Ensure that you set the Run privilege for Application Integration Assets if you want the users to perform the following tasks:
- Create, update, and delete metadata of the business entities in the Business 360 Console.
- Create, update, and delete records in Customer 360. Import data into Customer 360.
Data Quality
Assets
Rule Specification. Indicates whether the user role can create, view, update, and delete advanced rule associations in Business 360 Console.
You can configure privileges for the following import scenarios:
- To allow users to import data for use in data models with data quality rule associations, set the read privilege for theRule Specification asset.
- To allow users to import data to an asset that uses DaaS rule associations for address values, set the read and run privilege for the Verifier asset.
- To allow users to import dictionary assets configured with data quality rule associations, set create, read, update, and run privileges for the Dictionary asset.
MDM Business Application
Features
View Business Applications. Indicates whether the user can access MDM business applications, such as Customer 360, on the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services platform.
Human Tasks
Features
View Tasks. Indicates whether the user can access the assigned tasks in the Workflow Inbox page of the Business 360 applications.
Note: The View Tasks privilege is enabled by default for the Customer 360 analyst, manager, and data steward user roles as they require access to the Workflow Inbox page in Customer 360. It is not enabled for the MDM Business User role.

Configure privileges for custom user roles in Administrator. You can assign privileges to a custom user role after you create it.
