Prerequisites for a publish business events job

Before you define a publish business events job, complete the following prerequisite tasks:
  1. 1In Business 360 Console, define a publishing event. For more information about defining a publishing event, see Defining publishing events in the Business 360 Console help.
  2. 2In Administrator, specify a Secure Agent that is up and running as the runtime environment to run a mapping task. For more information about Secure Agent, see Runtime environments in the Administrator help.
  3. 3In Administrator, create a Business 360 Events connection to read events from a Business 360 application and a target connection to publish events to an external target. For more information about creating connections, see Configuring a connection in the Administrator help.
  4. 4In Cloud Data Integration, create a mapping with the Business 360 Events connection as the source transformation and the target connection as the target transformation. Ensure that you create the in-out parameters startAtTimestamp and endAtTimestamp in the Parameters panel. For more information about creating a mapping, see Mapping configuration in the Cloud Data Integration help.
  5. Note: The name of the in-out parameter is case sensitive.
  6. 5In Cloud Data Integration, create a mapping task by selecting the runtime environment and adding the mapping that you create. For more information about configuring a mapping task, see Mapping task configuration in the Cloud Data Integration help.
  7. 6In Cloud Data Integration, create the required taskflows. Publish the taskflows to use in your business events publishing job. For more information about creating taskflows, see Creating a taskflow in the Cloud Data Integration help.
