To define business events, use external workflows that you create as processes in Application Integration or native workflows that you design in MDM SaaS.
Based on when your organization was created, you can use the following workflows:
•If you became an MDM SaaS customer as of the April 2026 release, you can define business events based on native workflows.
Effective in the April 2026 release, the ability to create native workflows and use them in business events is available for preview.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
