Managing projects and assets

You can manage projects and assets on the Explore page. The Explore page is an Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services feature that is available for most services. If you use multiple services, you might see projects, folders, and assets for all of your services on the Explore page.

Before you migrate assets, ensure that you set up the business application.

Before you provision an organization, create projects for the additional assets, such as mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and other MDM SaaS assets, based on your requirement. Avoid using predefined projects, such as Business360, Reference360, and Customer360, for these assets.

You can manage your Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services projects and assets in the following ways:

•Copy the contents of projects or folders to other locations.
•Move folders to other locations.
•Delete custom projects or folders
•Rename custom projects or folders.
•Configure permissions for projects, folders, or assets.
•Migrate assets between organizations.

Note: In an organization that has source control enabled, you can't store versions of the MDM SaaS projects, folders, and assets.
