Introducing Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce

An extension is a ready-to-use package that extends the capability of Customer 360. The package can include business entities, reference data, relationships, custom pages, jobs, source systems, and Data Integration assets to support the jobs. You can use an extension as a template to get started with Customer 360.

Use Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce to integrate Salesforce and Customer 360 and process the Salesforce records in Customer 360. The supported Salesforce objects are accounts, contacts, person accounts, account to contact relationships, account to partner relationships, and account hierarchies.

You can import Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce , detect duplicate records, merge them, and then export the merged records to Salesforce.

For example, if you have three different accounts for a customer with different addresses in Salesforce, you can merge them into a single record with all the addresses in Customer 360. You can then export the three accounts to Salesforce with the consolidated values. The three records in Salesforce include the ID of the merged Customer 360 record.

You can configure Salesforce to synchronize records with Customer 360 in batches or real time. You can also configure Salesforce to search for matching Account and Person Account records in Customer 360 before creating a record.

Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce supports the Enterprise and Developer Editions of Salesforce.
