Creating records

You can create and save business entity records. Based on your user role, you might need to send the records for approval. Customer 360 SaaS validates the fields before saving a record.
For example, you can use the Person business entity to add data, such as personal information and contact details. Also, you can use the Organization business entity to add data, such as the name of an organization and its contact and financial details. You can also add related records and dynamic field definitions to a business entity record.
When you create an organization or person record, you can use CLAIRE recommendations to enrich the record with additional information from external data providers. To enrich the record, your administrator must have set up external data providers.
When you create a record, Customer 360 SaaS saves the record as a draft before you submit the record or send it for approval. Use the draft to work on the record over time and submit all changes at once. A Draft label appears next to the record name. The label persists until you submit the changes.
Only you can see the drafts that you create, and you can access them from the My Drafts page.
Preview Notice:
Effective in the October 2026 release, the ability to save changes as drafts is available for preview.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances. For more information, contact Informatica Global Customer Support.
If your record contains a multilingual picklist field, the field values appear in your browser's locale. If the picklist isn't localized for your browser's locale, the picklist values appear in the configured default language.
