Editing a single record

To edit one record at a time and update its field values, select a business entity and search for the record that you want to edit.
    1 From the search results, open the record that you want to edit.
    2 Update the information in the required sections.
    3If the record contains inapplicable dynamic fields that you want to remove, click Remove Inapplicable Fields from the Actions menu.
    4 Apply the changes.
    The changes are saved as a draft.
    5Optionally, click Synchronize if another user updates different fields of the same record while you are editing it.
    You can see their updates without losing your changes.
    6Optionally, you can discard your changes instead of submitting them.
    1. aFrom the Actions menu, select Discard Draft.
    2. A confirmation dialog appears.
    3. bClick Discard.
    4. The draft is discarded, and your changes are removed from the record.
    7To submit your changes, click Submit or Send for Approval.
    When you send for approval, a review task is created and available for approvers to review. An icon appears after a few seconds to indicate that the record has pending changes.
    8If another user updated the same fields of the record, resolve the conflicts.
    1. aIn the information message, click Resolve Conflicts.
    2. bIn the Resolve Conflicts dialog box, select one of the following strategies in the Conflict Resolution Strategy list:
    3. cOptionally, to override the selected strategy, select the resolution for individual fields.
    4. dClick Resolve.
    5. The conflicts on your draft are resolved.
    6. eClick Submit or Send for Approval.
