Getting started with CLAIRE Copilot

CLAIRE Copilot is a conversational assistant that understands natural language. It can help you create and understand assets in your organization through a conversational user interface and natural language prompts.
CLAIRE Copilot can help you with the following tasks:
Create assets
CLAIRE Copilot can create assets based on a natural language prompt, making it easier and faster than configuring the asset from scratch. If you're just beginning to create assets in your organization, CLAIRE Copilot can help you get started.
In Data Integration, CLAIRE Copilot can help you create the following assets:
Summarize mappings
CLAIRE Copilot can help you summarize mappings that have been created in your organization. You can open a mapping and ask CLAIRE Copilot to summarize it without manually analyzing transformation to understand how it's configured.
Note: CLAIRE Copilot can't help you with other tasks besides creating assets and summarizing mappings.

Open CLAIRE Copilot in the appropriate service.
To create a mapping or an ingestion and replication task, or to summarize a mapping, open CLAIRE Copilot in Data Integration.
Gather all details to create the asset.
Before you ask CLAIRE Copilot to create an asset, gather all the details you need. To create an asset in Data Integration, gather details about source and target connections, objects, and schemas.
Create assets on the Home page.
Open CLAIRE Copilot on the Home page of your service before asking it to create an asset.
Provide all details in the first prompt.
To improve performance, provide as much detail about the asset as you can in the first prompt that you submit to CLAIRE Copilot.
Be clear and concise in prompts.
Be clear and concise when you write prompts. Tell CLAIRE Copilot exactly what you want it to do and in the appropriate order. For example, to create a mapping in Data Integration, make the order of the individual transformations clear.
Create only one data flow in mappings.
CLAIRE Copilot can create only one data flow in mappings.
Finalize the asset description before opening the asset.
Finalize the description of the asset that you want to create before asking CLAIRE Copilot to open it in the appropriate editor. After you open an asset, CLAIRE Copilot can't make any more changes to the asset and you can edit it only manually.
Validate, save, and run assets manually.
CLAIRE Copilot can't validate, save, or run assets. To validate, save, or run an asset, select the appropriate option in the editor where the asset is open.
Open a mapping, and then summarize it.
For existing mappings, open the mapping using the appropriate editor before asking CLAIRE Copilot to summarize it.
Note: Effective in January 2025, CLAIRE Copilot is available for preview. Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
