The July release of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services℠ Data Profiling includes the following changed behavior.
Metadata access control for rule occurrences and scorecards
To create rule occurrences and view scorecard metrics, you need the following permissions:
•Create, Read, Update, and Delete for the Data Profiling Task asset type on your user role. An administrator can set the Data Profiling Task permissions for you in the Administrator service.
•Create, Update, Delete, and Manage Access for the Data Quality Rule Occurrence asset type on your user role policy and stakeholder role policy definitions. An administrator can configure the user role and stakeholder role policies for you in Metadata Command Center.
Previously, you needed the Stakeholdership feature privilege for Data Governance and Catalog to create rule occurrences and view scorecard metrics.
Note: Stakeholders don't get automatically assigned to Data Quality Rule Occurrence assets. When there are no stakeholders assigned, the creator of the asset gets a notification for every change in the score trend. After you assign a stakeholder, only the stakeholder is notified.
