CLAIRE GPT has a simple natural language conversation interface. You can send prompts to start a conversation to easily discover and manage data across Intelligent Data Management Cloud services.
To start a conversation, type a prompt in the prompt text box, modify a sample prompt, or select and modify a sample prompt from categories such as Data Governance, Data Analysis, Data Quality, and Master Data Management. After you enter a prompt, press ENTER or click Submit. You can also type # in the prompt text box to view the sample prompts.
You can rename, delete, pin, and search conversations. Additionally, you can rate responses within a conversation and provide feedback. To clear the conversation context, use a natural language prompt such as Clear conversation memory or click the Clear conversation memory icon, and then continue with your next request.
Data discovery responses include explanations for each item in the response. The explanation provides information such as why particular items appear in the response, as well as unique insights for different asset types. Responses depend on the privileges that the organization administrator assigns to you.

1Reasoning. Explains the approach and methodology for analyzing relevant data sets based on the prompt query.
2Cards. Includes visual components such as tables and charts arranged in various layout formats to display data and metadata based on your prompt. These provide a better user experience and allow quicker exploration of complex prompts that generate multiple assets.
3Summary. Summarizes the response briefly.
4Analysis and insights. Provides key findings, including the number and types of data sets identified as relevant to the query. This section might not appear in some responses, depending on the types of prompts.
5Business-friendly insight. Provides insights to make technical information more accessible, relevant, and actionable for business users. This section might not appear in some responses, depending on the types of prompts.
6Suggestions. Provides new prompt suggestions you can send based on your conversation history.
7Uploaded files. Includes all files you upload in a conversation.
8Artifacts. Includes outputs that CLAIRE GPT generates, such as files like PowerPoint presentations, reports, or PDFs, and Intelligent Data Management Cloud assets such as mappings or rule specifications. CLAIRE agents can instantly consume and reuse artifacts. This enables you to ask questions about the artifacts immediately. This also streamlines how you can access, manage, and reuse artefacts, promoting greater efficiency and collaboration.
Note:
To enhance system reliability and optimize performance, conversations older than six months are archived. Archived conversations don't appear in CLAIRE GPT.
