Data quality assessment

Discover and analyze data sets using data quality criteria, data quality scores, or data quality status with the help of the data quality assessment skill of the data quality agent.
You can use CLAIRE GPT to assess data quality in the following ways:
View catalog summary
View a summary of the data in your catalog. The summary includes data types, statistics, and the number of null and unique values and can help you identify outliers in your data.
If the data profile of the requested data set is not available in the catalog, CLAIRE GPT performs on-demand data profiling of the data elements in the data set to return the data summary.
Profile your data
You can profile data from a file that you upload. You can upload a CSV or Microsoft Excel file up to 25 MB. CLAIRE GPT can profile up to 10,000 rows and 50 columns of data from the file that you provide.
When you ask CLAIRE GPT to profile data from a file that you upload, you can filter by rows, focus on selected columns, or combine both to target specific records. By filtering, you get faster and more focused results without having to profile an entire data set.
You can also use CLAIRE GPT to analyze a subset of a data set.
The following list shows some examples of how you can use CLAIRE GPT to profile your data:
Assess the data quality of systems and business data sets
Explore and assess the data quality of systems and business data sets from a business perspective. For example, you can ask to view the data quality rules created by a stakeholder, or rules created in the last quarter.
CLAIRE GPT displays only the default data quality dimensions.
