Alerts and notifications

CDI-PC generates notifications for specific tasks that you perform on the CDI-PC service page and for changes that occur to registered domains in your organization and sub-organizations. The changes could be planned such as a domain deregistration or unplanned such as a domain going offline because of loss of connectivity.
The messages are visible as alerts in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and sent as automated email notifications.
To view alerts in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and to receive email notifications, you must be assigned the Domain Management user role. Notifications are sent to all users in the organization with the Domain Management user role assigned. For information about how to assign user roles and features, see User Administration in the Administrator service help.

Offline domain

A domain moves to offline state.
Obsolete domain
Error
A domain becomes obsolete because it's on an outdated version. Indicates that a mandatory update wasn't applied by the specified date.
Update available
Info
A domain update is available.
Repeated domain update reminders indicate that a mandatory update is available and must be applied by the specified date or else the domain would turn obsolete. Repeated update reminders and email notifications are sent if you have not updated the domain to the latest available major release.
A pop-up reminder for an available new version appears each time you log in unless you choose to be reminded after 10 days. You can't disable the reminder if the update is due in 30 days or less. The reminder continues to appear until all domains in the organization are updated.
