Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) includes the following changed behavior in this release:
Retention of asset conversion status
When you re-assess a PowerCenter repository, the conversion status of the converted assets does not change. The assessment result of the repository shows the conversion status of the assets as Successful for the converted assets. CDI-PC does not retain the conversion status of the failed conversion tasks.
Previously, re-assessing a repository would reset the status of converted assets to the Pending state.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
Retention of assessment runs during purge
When you run purging tasks to delete runtime data, CDI-PC retains the assessment details of the latest two runs.
Previously, purging the runtime data deleted the details of all previous assessment runs.
Assessment Report Files
In addition to the existing files, the assessment report ZIP now includes the following files:
•Connection_Summary_Report.xlsx : Contains a list of all supported and unsupported connections available in the repository.
•MANUAL_FLAGS.csv: Contains a list of all manual flags and the number of assets impacted by the flags in the repository.
•PARTIAL_FLAGS.csv: Contains a list of all partial flags and the number of assets impacted by the flags in the repository.
In addition to the existing sheets, the assessment report Excel file now includes the following sheets:
•Connection_Summary: Contains the repoint configuration details and the list of connections used in the assessed repository with their count.
•Sessions: Contains the list of workflow and worklet sessions in the repository. This sheet also contains the list of flags responsible for manual or partial conversion of the workflow and worklet sessions.
The following sheets have been removed from the assessment report Excel file: Connections, Connection Repoint, Workflow Sessions, Worklet Sessions, and Transformations.
