Changed behavior

Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) includes the following changed behavior in the October 2025 release:

CDI-PC domain update in two steps

You can now update your CDI-PC domain through two distinct update modes available on the CDI-PC service page. You can choose to update your domain in two steps by preparing for the update in advance. This Two-step Update ensures that your domain remains functional even if the preparation encounters an issue. The update status clearly indicates the stages of preparation and final update that allows you to complete preparation several days prior to your scheduled maintenance window. Alternatively, you can use the One-step Update mode, wherein preparation and update occur simultaneously with a single action.
Previously, the domain update was a single-step process and did not offer the benefits of preparing in advance.

Enhanced support for heterogeneous nodes in CDI-PC

CDI-PC now enables heterogeneous node deployments that allows you to mix Windows, Linux, and AIX nodes within the same domain. You can deploy and operate Windows, Linux, and AIX nodes together seamlessly in a single CDI-PC domain. Additionally, you can deploy Secure Agents on either Windows, Linux, or AIX enabling them to communicate with domains running on different operating system platforms as needed.
Previously, the CDI-PC domain and the Secure Agent were required to be on the same operating system. For example, you couldn't establish communication between a domain installed on Linux and a Secure Agent installed on Windows.

Repoint and Connection Map configurations

You can now select the type of repository, such as Model and PowerCenter, to create Repoint and Connection Map configurations using the new Repository Type field.
Previously, the Repoint and Connection Map configurations were created only for PowerCenter repository by default.
