Important notices

The April 2026 release of Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) includes the following important notices.

Azul JDK 17

Effective in April 2026, CDI-PC uses version 17 of the Azul Java Development Kit.
Before you migrate or update to a CDI-PC version that includes a new Java version (for example, moving from Java 11 to Java 17), you must validate all your custom Java code, dependencies, and external JARs, especially those referenced in Java transformations.
See the Product Availability Matrix for Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) corresponding to your current version to identify the exact JDK version that will be replaced by JDK 17.

Update information

The April 2026 update to Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) is a mandatory update and must be applied within 90 days of release. Domains that you don't update within 90 days are marked as obsolete and the domain status appears offline in IDMC. You can't run jobs or perform tasks on obsolete domains.
You can apply the update on CDI-PC domains of the October 2025 version. Although a domain shuts down during the update, you do not need to perform any manual task. The update performs all the tasks including binary download, shutdown of the domain before the update, and restart of services after the update.
For more information about how to apply updates, see Domain Updates.
For more information about the types of CDI-PC updates, see https://docs.informatica.com/integration-cloud/cloud-data-integration-for-powercenter/h2l/1839-release-readiness/landing-page.html.

DataProc and MapR for cluster configuration

Effective in April 2026, DataProc and MapR distribution packages are available for preview on the CDI-PC domain and Client for integration with the Hadoop environments. DataProc and MapR apply only to Data Engineering Integration modernization in the native environment.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
