Install third-party distribution package
You can use third-party distribution packages to integrate the CDI-PC domain with the Hadoop environment.
Effective in the October 2025 release, Hadoop package installation is available for preview.
The CDI-PC domain and client require the distribution packages to process complex files within the CDI-PC domain, to connect to Hadoop environment when you process within the CDI-PC domain, or to push processing to Hadoop environment. When you push processing to the Hadoop environment, the CDI-PC domain and client require distribution packages. For more information about the supported distribution packages, see the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) for Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
You can use the CDI-PC installer to install a distribution package. Alternatively, you can install it using Integration Package Manager (the package manager). You can download the installers for all CDI-PC components and Hadoop packages from the CDI-PC home page.
For more information, see the CDI-PC Installation Guide.
Update information
The October 2025 update to Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) is a mandatory update and must be applied within 90 days of release. Domains that you don't update within 90 days are marked as obsolete and the domain status appears offline in IDMC. You can't run jobs or perform tasks on obsolete domains.
You can apply the update on CDI-PC domains of the April 2025 version. Although a domain shuts down during the update, you do not need to perform any manual task. The update performs all the tasks including binary download, shutdown of the domain before the update, and restart of services after the update.
For more information about how to apply updates, see Domain Updates.
