The April 2026 release of Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) includes the following new features and enhancements.
Reprepare a domain for update
You can reprepare a domain for an update when changes, such as a mandatory EBF or a new installer version, become available after your initial preparation.
If a domain has been successfully prepared but new updates or EBFs are released, its status will automatically change to Prepare Outdated. This new status allows you to easily filter and identify which domain require attention. You can then review the new changes that will be applied and choose to reprepare the domain. This action updates your plan with the latest changes without initiating the full domain update, giving you the flexibility to incorporate them at your convenience before committing to the final update schedule.
For more information, see Domain Updates.
Domain registration during installation
You can register your CDI-PC domain during the installation process. When you run the installer to perform a new installation or migrate an existing domain, you can register the domain to establish communication between the domain and Intelligent Data Management Cloud.
For more information, see Installation Guide.
CDI-PC REST API
Use CDI-PC REST API resources to register, deregister, reconcile, delete, and get the status of a CDI-PC domain.
For more information, see REST API Reference.
Import external assessment results
You can import assessment results that are executed outside the organizational pod by uploading externally generated assessment result files to CDI-PC. By importing assessment results, you can proceed with the asset conversion processes when the in-pod assessments fail. After you import, you can view the assessment results on the repository dashboard and initiate asset conversion.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
Update connections in bulk
After you convert the assets of a repository, you can use the bulk update task to create and update multiple connections with one operation. You can either import the connection template BulkUpdateConnectionTemplate.xlsx file that is included in the assessment results ZIP, bulk upload connection metadata to Cloud Data Integration, or update existing connections using an Excel template.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
Complexity matrix for asset conversion
To improve the accuracy of conversion effort estimation for the assets that can be manually or partially converted, the assessment summary Excel file includes complexity score for each asset. This score reflects the difficulty level of converting an asset by evaluating multiple key factors, enabling more precise planning and prioritization. The complexity matrix includes the following details:
Complexity Scoring
Each asset receives a score based on parameters, such as the number of sessions, workflows, mappings, and dependencies, it contains. Assets are categorized into Low, Medium, or High complexity levels to provide clear insight into their conversion challenges.
Prioritized Assessment
Assets with higher complexity scores are flagged for deeper analysis and focused planning, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Comprehensive Factors
The matrix considers critical elements including the count and type of partial flags, concurrent workflows, target load ordering, and the presence of custom components or scripting. These factors collectively influence the overall conversion effort.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
Conversion support for dynamic mappings
You can convert mappings that contain dynamic sources, targets, or ports to Cloud Data Integration using a conversion task.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
Override schema properties for non-repointing conversion
You can override schema properties for non-repointing asset conversions. Before you convert assets, you can configure a connection map configuration with override schema properties and use the configuration in conversion tasks.
For more information, see PowerCenter Modernization.
