Manage Emergency Bug Fixes (EBFs) and patches

Informatica releases Emergency Bug Fixes (EBFs) and patches to provide fixes for critical issues that were found in previous releases. You can use the CDI-PC service page to apply the EBFs on a CDI-PC domain. You can also view the list of all EBFs that apply to the domain.
Alternatively, when you run the CDI-PC installer to create or migrate a domain, all available EBFs are installed automatically. For more information, see the CDI-PC Installation Guide.
In CDI-PC, you can apply an EBF tailored to address the critical issue that you encounter. You do not need to apply all the cumulative fixes that has no impact on your production environment. You can now plan and quickly apply the required EBFs on your domain and nodes on the Domain Details page in CDI-PC. When you apply an EBF, the PODs are restarted and the binaries of the EBFs that you apply are updated.
