You can test the run-time behavior of an asset in Data Quality. When you test an asset, Data Quality runs a temporary mapping that enables Data Quality to preview the run-time behavior. Before you test an asset, verify that you have the required user permission on the folder that contains the preview mapping. You may also need to verify the user permission on the folder that contains the asset.
The following permissions apply when you test an asset in Data Quality:
•You must have the Update permission on the SystemTEMP folder. Data Quality creates the temporary mapping in the SystemTEMP folder.
•If you save the asset in the Default folder, you must also have the Update permission on the folder.
Note: You can configure permissions on an object if you are assigned a role with the Set Permission privilege for the object type. To configure permissions on a folder, you must be assigned a role that has the Set Permission privilege for folders. For more information on user permissions, see the Organization Administration help in the Administrator.
