Magento V1 connection properties

When you create a Magento V1 connection, configure the connection properties.

You can use the following authentication methods to connect to Magento:

•Token. Uses the Magento account user name, password, and store URL to connect to Magento.
•OAuth 1.0. Uses the OAuth 1.0 protocol with the store URL, consumer key, consumer secrete, access token, and token secrete to connect to Magento.

Before you configure the connection properties, you'll need to get information from your Magento account.

Token authentication

When you create a Magento V1 connection, configure the connection properties for the Token authentication type.

The following table describes the Magento V1 connection properties for the Token authentication type:

Connection property	Description
Connection Name	Name of the connection. Each connection name must be unique within the organization. Connection names can contain alphanumeric characters, spaces, and the following special characters: _ . + -, Maximum length is 255 characters.
Description	Description of the connection. Maximum length is 4000 characters.
Type	The Magento V1 connection type.
Runtime Environment	The name of the runtime environment where you want to run the tasks. Select the Informatica Cloud Hosted Agent.
User Name	The user name to connect to Magento.
Password	The password to connect to Magento.
Store URL	The URL to access the Magento store.
Authentication Type	The authentication type that the connector uses to connect to Magento. Select Token. Default is Token.

When you create a Magento V1 connection, configure the connection properties for the OAuth 1.0 authentication type.

The following table describes the Magento V1 connection properties for the OAuth 1.0 authentication type:

Connection property	Description
Connection Name	Name of the connection. Each connection name must be unique within the organization. Connection names can contain alphanumeric characters, spaces, and the following special characters: _ . + -, Maximum length is 255 characters.
Description	Description of the connection. Maximum length is 4000 characters.
Type	The Magento V1 connection type.
Runtime Environment	The name of the runtime environment where you want to run the tasks. Select the Informatica Cloud Hosted Agent.
Store URL	The URL to access the Magento store.
Consumer Key	The consumer key to access Magento.
Consumer Secret	The consumer secret key issued to the client during the application registration process.
Access Token	The access token granted by Magento to access data.
Token Secret	The token secret generated in Magento.
Authentication Type	The authentication type that the connector uses to connect to Magento. Select OAuth 1.0.
