Informatica Intelligent Cloud ServicesData Integration includes the following new features and enhancements in this release.
Field names in fixed-width flat files
You can use Japanese UNICODE characters and the following special characters in fixed-width flat file field names: #, @.
Hierarchical mappers
Hierarchical mappers include the following new features and enhancements:
•You can select a data service from the data services repository as the source or target schema.
•You can use the Xpath expression editor to edit input, condition, and output expressions.
•When you drag a source element to a target element, the generated statement is automatically validated.
•You can hover over an element to copy its XPath expression or view the element properties.
•You can select a mapping link from a source element to a target element and press Delete to delete it.
For more information, see Components.
Platform REST API
In a pull, pullByCommitHash, or undoCheckout POST request, you can use key-value pairs in the additionalProviderFlags field to include additional object specifications, such as in-out parameter values and sequence generator values.
For more information, see REST API Reference.
Unified Home page
Some organizations will see a unified Home page that provides a guided and unified experience for Data Integration and Data Ingestion and Replication users.
The panels on the Home page are customized for each user based on criteria like your organization's licenses, the user's roles, and whether the user loads data to a particular cloud data warehouse. For example, the Home page for an Admin user that loads data to Snowflake might look like the following image:
If your organization doesn't use the unified Home page, you'll continue to see the Home page that you've used in past releases.
For more information about the new Home page, see Data Integration.
Data Ingestion and Replication tasks and jobs
If your organization uses Data Ingestion and Replication, you'll see an option to create Data Ingestion and Replication tasks in the New Asset dialog box in Data Integration. You'll also see your mass ingestion jobs on the My Jobs page.
Reset sequences in mappings in advanced mode
When you use a Sequence Generator transformation in a mapping in advanced mode, you can configure the transformation to generate values based on the original initial value for each mapping run, rather than continuing the sequence from the previous run.
You can parameterize the Carbon Copy (Cc) email addresses, subject line, and the body for suspension email notifications. On the Advanced tab, you can parameterize the Email Cc, Email Subject, and Email Body fields by using the parameter set, input fields, output fields, and temporary fields. For example, when you move assets from one Point of Deployment (POD) to another, instead of manually entering the recipient Cc email addresses, you can parameterize them to save time.
For more information about parameterizing the Cc email addresses, subject line, and body, see Taskflows.
