July 2024 fixed issues

Issue
Description
CBDM-32640
Validation fails for an expression parameter in a dynamic mapping task when all the following conditions are true:
  • - The expression includes a user-defined function.
  • - A mapping in advanced mode uses the expression.
CLDDI-31444
When you parameterize the lookup expression for an unconnected Lookup transformation in a mapping in SQL ELT mode, and the expression passes an integer or decimal value, the mapping task displays a validation error saying that the argument data types aren't valid.
ISD-5308
When you run a mapping with a Structure Parser transformation that uses an intelligent structure model based on a Cobol copybook, the output is incorrect if the mapping processes a DAT file.
POP-50490
Tag names can't include control characters or certain special characters. However, when you create a tag, no warning is displayed when the tag name contains a control character or the following special characters: ? ' | { } " ^ & [ ] /

Issue
Description
ISD-5321
When you use an intelligent structure model based on a Cobol copybook in a Structure Parser transformation, the output file is invalid if the transformation processes file types other than binary files.
TF-4652
The My Jobs page in Data Integration and the All Jobs and Running Jobs pages in Monitor display the taskflow start time and end time values based on the time zone setting in the user profile. However, when you open a taskflow instance, the values in the Start time and End time fields appear in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) regardless of the time zone setting in the user profile.

April 2024 fixed issues

Issue
Description
CLDDI-28803
If you parameterize an expression in a mapping in advanced mode and specify a function in the mapping task that isn't available in advanced mode, the mapping task incorrectly validates the expression. If you run the mapping task, the job fails.
CLDDI-27662
Mapping tasks fail at run time when all the following conditions apply:
  • - The task is based on a mapping in SQL ELT mode.
  • - The source and target connections and objects are parameterized.
  • - In the mapping task, the source type is set to "Query," and you enter a custom query.
CLDDI-27461
Validation fails for a mapping task in which all the following conditions apply:
  • - The task is based on a mapping in SQL ELT mode.
  • - The source and lookup connections and objects are parameterized.
  • - Any field names in the lookup condition are identical to each other or to a source field name.
CLDDI-26612
When you run a mapping task that is based on a mapping in SQL ELT mode, the job details page displays the target name in the individual source and target results as "Target (Target1)" instead of including the actual target name inside the parentheses. If there are multiple targets in the mapping, the success rows and error rows displayed for "Target (Target1)" are cumulative for all targets.

February 2024 fixed issues

Issue
Description
CLDDI-14201
When you create a mapping task using the new mapping task editor, you can't create an advanced relationship for the parameterized source objects.
TF-2304
When a taskflow that contains multiple parallel tasks is configured to send an email on suspension, an email is sent for each failed or suspended task. This results in multiple email notifications to the recipients.
