Viewing tasks

You can view tasks on the Workflow Inbox page. The Workflow Inbox page displays the list of tasks that requires action.
As an approver, you might want to sort and find tasks that you want to approve in the workflow inbox. For example, to review tasks based on priority or status, you can sort tasks based on priority or status, and then claim the task. You can't sort tasks by creator.
    1Open the Workflow Inbox from the left navigation pane.
    By default, the tasks appear in the List view where you can view the details of each task in the workspace.

    The List view displays the list of workflow tasks along with the task summary and task details.

    The Grid view displays the list of workflow tasks in table form.
    2To view the details of a task, click the task.
    The task details appear in a panel of the Workflow Inbox page.
    3Optionally, click Select List View or Grid View icon to change the view.

Filtering and sorting tasks

You can use the predefined filters to filter tasks that your user role has access to on the Workflow Inbox page. By default, open tasks that aren't assigned to any user are filtered, and you can claim these tasks. You can also sort tasks based on task details, such as task ID, priority, and due date.
In the grid view, you can sort tasks by task ID, subject, task, priority, status, owner, created date, modified date, and due date. In the list view, you can sort tasks by subject, due date, and priority.
The following table describes the predefined filters you can use on the Workflow Inbox page:

Unassigned Tasks
Filters tasks that aren't assigned.
My Tasks
Filters tasks that are assigned to you and also those that are claimed by you.
Active Tasks
Filters tasks that are assigned to you, but not closed.
Closed Tasks
Filters tasks that you worked on and are now closed.
Open Admin Tasks
Filters all the open tasks that your user role has access to, and you can claim the unassigned tasks. These tasks can be in progress, unassigned, or assigned.
My Stakeholder Tasks
Available in the new experience. Reserved for future use.
Due In 7 Days
Filters tasks that are due in seven days.
Due In 14 Days
Filters tasks that are due in 14 days.
Due In More Than 14 Days
Filters tasks that will be due after 14 days.
Past Due
Filters tasks that are already past the due date.
Created within 7 days
Filters tasks that were created within the last seven days.
Created within 14 days
Filters tasks that were created within the last 14 days.
Created earlier than 14 days ago
Filters tasks that were created earlier than 14 days.
Modified within 7 days
Filters tasks that were modified within the last seven days.
Modified within 14 days
Filters tasks that were modified within the last 14 days.
Modified earlier than 14 days ago
Filters tasks that were modified earlier than 14 days.
Priority High
Filters high priority tasks.
Priority Medium
Filters medium priority tasks.
Priority Low
Filters low priority tasks.
