Changed behavior

The October 2025 release includes the following changed behaviors.

Advanced rule associations

When you add or edit a code value, you can now update values for attributes that are set as output fields of advanced rule associations. If an advanced rule association doesn't populate values for an output field, you can manually add values to the output field. When you save the code value, Reference 360 runs the advanced rule associations and overwrites the values for the attributes based on the input field values that you enter.
For example, you use a rule specification with a condition to copy the input field value to the output field if the input field starts with 1, otherwise leave the output field blank. If the input field value doesn't start with 1, you can update the values in the output field based on the input field values that you enter.
Previously, the attributes that were set as output fields of advanced rule associations appeared as read-only fields.

Enhanced visual experience for pages with no data

Reference 360 has an enhanced visual experience for pages with no data.
For example, the Values tab of a code list with no code values now includes an illustration with a message that guides you to create new code values or import code values.
The following image displays the Values tab of a code list with no code values:
Previously, the Values tab of a code list had no illustrations.
