Import data

You can import data from SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA to Reference 360 in batches using Reference 360 Extension for SAP Finance.
To import data from SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA to Reference 360, you must create import jobs using the predefined Cloud Data Integration assets of Reference 360 Extension for SAP Finance. For more information about creating import jobs for reference data, see Import reference data. For more information about the predefined Cloud Data Integration assets, see Cloud Data Integration assets.
After you create import jobs, run the jobs. The import jobs use SAP Table Connector to read data from SAP tables and Business 360 Connector to write data into Reference 360. When you run import jobs, the associated mappings access the ECC and S/4HANA financial master and its dependent data from SAP tables and then import it into the ECC and S4H code lists of master and lookup reference data sets in Reference 360.
For hierarchy objects, the associated mappings access the ECC and S/4HANA hierarchical data from SAP tables and then import it into a hierarchical reference data set, in Reference 360.
The following image shows the process to import SAP ECC data in batches:The process of data import from SAP ECC to the ECC code list in Reference 360 uses an import job and SAP Table Connector.
The following image shows the process to import SAP S/4HANA data in batches:The process of data import from SAP S/4HANA to the S4H code list in Reference 360 uses an import job and SAP Table Connector.
Note: After you import data, configure crosswalks from the ECC and S4H code lists to the Enterprise code list in Reference 360. Reference 360 Extension for SAP Finance doesn't include predefined crosswalks. For more information about crosswalks, see Manage crosswalks.
