Step 7. Monitor the Catalog
As analysts use the Intelligent Data Lake application to search for data in the catalog, you can regularly monitor the catalog and the Live Data Map tasks that extract metadata from the data lake and from enterprise systems outside the data lake.
Use Live Data Map Administrator to track the status and schedule of Live Data Map tasks. You can monitor the duration of the tasks that are running. You can also monitor the resource distribution and track the number of resources for each resource type. To perform a detailed analysis of Live Data Map performance, open the Monitoring workspace in Live Data Map Administrator.
