Step 2. Create the Catalog

Use the Catalog Administrator to create the catalog of information assets in the enterprise.
Complete the following steps to create the catalog:
  1. 1. Use the Catalog Administrator to create the following resources:
  2. 2. Run a scan on the resources to load metadata into the catalog.
  3. 3. Create schedules for the resources so that Enterprise Information Catalog regularly scans the resources. As a best practice, schedule the resource scans to run during non-business hours.
