Scheduling Overview
When a user imports, exports, or publishes a data asset, the user can choose to complete the activity at that time, or can choose to schedule the activity. Scheduling an activity enables users to import, export or publish updated data assets to the data lake on a recurring basis.
If a user decides to schedule an activity, the user can create a new schedule, or can select an existing schedule. Other users can use schedules that the user creates, and the user can use schedules created by other users.
As an administrator, you can create, edit or delete schedules as needed. For information on creating, editing, or deleting schedules, see the Informatica Enterprise Data Preparation User Guide.
The Scheduler Service must be running to create or use schedules in Enterprise Data Preparation.
