Adding a Resource to the Data Lake
Use the Enterprise Data Preparation application to add Enterprise Data Catalog resources to the data lake.
You must add at least one Hive resource, which is required to perform export, import, data preparation and publish operations in the Enterprise Data Preparation application, to the data lake.
1. Select the Settings icon, and then select Lake Management.
2. Click the Resource Management tab.
3. Click Add.
4. Select a resource in the Add Resource panel, and then click Add.
