Bulk certification of assets
Effective in version 10.5.2, resource stakeholders such as data owners, data stewards, and subject matter experts can certify or decertify assets from the resource in bulk.

Enrichment Migration Utility
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can use the Enrichment Migration Utility to migrate enrichments between resources of the same type. For example, from the Salesforce scanner V1 to the Salesforce MetaDex scanner V2. This utility is available in the MetaDex tool.

MetaDex Job Reports
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can generate Microsoft Excel reports that contain logs and objects for jobs that you run in the MetaDex tool.

Scanners
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can extract metadata from Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics. You configure the Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics MetaDex scanner in the MetaDex tool.
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can also extract metadata from data sources with the following standard scanners that you configure in the MetaDex tool:
- •Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services - Cloud Data Integration V2
- •Salesforce V2
Note: This functionality is available as technical preview. Technical preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances. Profiling Enhancements
Read this section to learn what's new for profiling in Enterprise Data Catalog.
Profile Avro files
You can extract metadata, discover Avro partitions, and run profiles on Avro files with multiple-level hierarchy. You can run profiles on Avro files for the following types of resources:
- •HDFS
- •Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
- •Amazon S3
You can run profiles on Avro files using HDFS, Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Amazon S3 resources on the Spark engine.

Profile Google BigQuery resource with reserved keywords
You can run profiles on the Google BigQuery resource with reserved keywords in the Google BigQuery table.

Use Amazon S3 and AWS Databricks Delta tables to run profiles
You can use Amazon S3 and AWS Databricks Delta tables to run column profiles and discover data domains on both native and AWS Databricks run-time environments.
External PostgreSQL database to improve performance of Similarity Discovery resources
You can configure an external PostgreSQL database to improve the performance of Informatica Similarity Discovery resources. You can choose to either install the PostgreSQL database server bundled with the Enterprise Data Catalog installer or configure an external PostgreSQL database. You can configure the external PostgreSQL database after installation of Enterprise Data Catalog.

SAP S/4HANA Resource
You can enable the streaming mode for data discovery when accessing data from the SAP S/4HANA resource.
Axon and Business Glossary Resources
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can view the hierarchy of a business term associated with a technical asset for Axon and Business Glossary resources.
Amazon S3 V2 and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 V2 Resources
The Amazon S3 V2 and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 V2 resources include the following enhancements:
- Partitioned file configuration
- You can configure the resources to eliminate non relevant partitions, and detect custom partitions in the data source.
- Exclusion filter
- You can configure the resources to exclude folders or directories recursively from the data source or the selected first level directories.

REST APIs

- •Security Info REST API. You can list the access permissions on resources for specific users and groups.
- •DAA Dashboard APIs. You can view the chart data and hero stats data in Data Asset Analytics.

Search Results
Effective in version 10.5.2, the Search Results page now displays composite data domains in the asset details.

View foreign key relationships
Effective in version 10.5.2, you can view details of foreign keys for assets such as tables, views, and files in the Enterprise Data Catalog tool.
