Data Privacy Management

Snowflake Advanced Scanner

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can use the advanced scanner for Snowflake with Data Privacy Management. You can use the scanner to import and view domain discovery scan results and to run subject registry scans in Data Privacy Management.

User behavior activity logs

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, the log messages for system jobs related to UBA applications such as Augmentor, Percolator, and UBA Manager, include the URL of the Spark user interface. Use the URL to view the logs for all UBA Spark applications directly from Data Privacy Management.

Enterprise Data Catalog

Relational resource enhancements

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can configure the data preparation settings for relational resources in the Catalog Administrator tool. For more information, see the Informatica Catalog Administration Guide.

Direct read for data profiling

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can configure direct read for an Amazon Redshift resource for data profiling. You can enable direct read using custom options during resource configuration. For more information, see the Enterprise Data Catalog Scanner Configuration Guide.

Profiling and data domain discovery on external tables for Amazon Redshift resources

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can run a profile and perform data domain discovery on external tables for an Amazon Redshift resource.

Schedule enhancements

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can view the server time zone when you configure a resource in the Catalog Administrator tool. You can view the server time zone for both custom and reusable schedules.

Data domains in search results

Opening primary keys and foreign keys of related tables from the Relationships view

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can open the primary keys and foreign keys of related tables from the Relationships view of a tabular asset.

Lineage enhancements

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, the diagram or compact view in the Lineage and Impact tab includes the following enhancements:

• - You can view the control flow between the assets in the lineage diagram.
• - You can search for specific assets or objects in the lineage diagram using the find text box.
• - You can configure the direction of the data flow for an asset in the lineage diagram.

Business term association

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can process file locations of the Amazon S3 Cloud Storage type with the SAP BODS MetaDex scanner.

Reference assets in the Missing Links report

Effective in version 10.5.2.1, you can generate the Missing Links report and identify the missing connection links that are resolved to reference assets.

Previously, you could generate the Missing Links report and identify only the connection links that are missing after you assign schemas from a resource to connections.
