Adding a Resource to the Data Lakehouse
Use the Enterprise Data Preparation application to add Enterprise Data Catalog resources to the data lakehouse.
Enterprise Data Preparation supports the following data sources:
- •Cloud Data Warehouse
- - Microsoft Azure Synapse
- •Cloud Data Lake
- - Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage
- - Amazon S3
- •Database
- - Oracle
- - Microsoft SQL Server
You must add at least one Hive resource, which is required to perform export, import, data preparation and publish operations in the Enterprise Data Preparation application, to the data lakehouse.
You can add a cloud database and a data warehouse through JDBCv2 connector for data preview, preparation, and publication. You must have a license added to the Data Integration Service to use JDBCv2 connector. The cloud data warehouse, such Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse, requires a native connector for data preview, preparation, and publication.
1Select the Settings icon, and then select App Configuration.
2Click the Resource Management tab.
3Click Add.
4Select a resource in the Add Resource panel, and then click Add.
