Monitor the Catalog
As analysts use Enterprise Data Preparation to search for data in the catalog, you can regularly monitor the catalog and the Enterprise Data Catalog tasks that extract metadata from the data lake and from enterprise systems outside the data lake.
Use the Catalog Administrator to track the status and schedule of Enterprise Data Catalog tasks. You can monitor the duration of the tasks that are running. You can also monitor the resource distribution and track the number of resources for each resource type. To perform a detailed analysis of Enterprise Data Catalog performance, open the Monitoring workspace in Catalog Administrator.
