Asset Revision
Content managers might need to update a Glossary asset properties after it is approved. To update an asset content managers must create a revision of assets once they are published or revised.
When content managers revise a published or rejected glossary asset, the Analyst tool creates another version of the asset. Content managers must complete the approval of the asset before the data steward can publish the changes. Glossary consumers can see the revised asset only after the data steward publishes the updated version. The updated version of the asset replaces the current asset.
Revising an Asset
Content managers create a revision of published or rejected assets to update information in the properties.
1. Open the asset that you want to revise.
The Analyst tool displays the business term, category, or policy in the Glossary workspace.
2. In the Actions menu, click Create a Revision.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
3. Confirm that you want to create a revision.
