Configuring a Keyboard Shortcut on Windows

You can set up a keyboard shortcut to launch the Business Glossary Desktop client from any application. The keyboard shortcut key combination must be unique.
    1. Click Edit > Settings.
    The Informatica Business Glossary Desktop Settings window appears.
    The figure shows the Hotkeys, Preferences, and Server tabs on top. The Hotkeys tab is selected. The option Start Business Glossary Desktop search with keyboard shortcuts is selected. The option Select two modifier keys and an alphanumeric key has the following parameters: Ctrl, Shift, Alt, and a drop down alphabet list. The following parameters are selected by default: Ctrl, Alt, Q.
    2. Click the Hotkeys tab.
    3. Keep the default option to start the business glossary search with keyboard keys.
    4. Select two modifier keys and an alphanumeric key.
    5. Click OK.
