Analyst Tool
This section describes changes to the Analyst tool in version 10.2 HotFix 2.
Default View
Effective in version 10.2 Hotfix 2, the default view for flat file and table objects is the Properties tab. When you create or open a flat file or table data object, the object opens in the Properties tab. Previously, the default view was the Data Viewer tab.

Scorecards
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, you can export a maximum of 100,000 invalid rows. When you export more than 100 invalid rows for a metric, the Data Integration Service creates a folder for the scorecard, subfolder for the metric, and Microsoft Excel files to export the rest of the invalid rows.

Command Line Programs
This section describes changes to commands in version 10.2 HotFix 2.
infasetup Commands
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, the valid values for the -srn and -urn options used in infasetup commands are changed.
If you configure a domain to use Kerberos authentication, the values for the -srn and -urn options do not need to be identical. If you configure a domain to use Kerberos cross realm authentication, you can specify a string containing the name of each Kerberos realm that the domain uses to authenticate users, separated by a comma.
Previously, you could specify the name of a single Kerberos realm as the value for both the -srn and -urn options.

This section describes changes to Informatica transformations in version 10.2 HotFix 2.
Address Validator Transformation
This section describes the changes to the Address Validator transformation.
The Address Validator transformation contains the following updates to address functionality:
All Countries
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, the Address Validator transformation uses version 5.14.0 of the Informatica Address Verification software engine.
Previously, the transformation used version 5.13.0 of the Informatica Address Verification software engine.
Parcel Centroid and Rooftop Geocodes
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, the Geocode Data Type property on the Address Validator transformation does not include options for Parcel Centroid or Rooftop geocode analysis.

Metadata Manager
SAP Business Warehouse (Deprecated)
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, Informatica deprecated the SAP Business Warehouse resource in Metadata Manager.
Cognos Version 8 or Earlier
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, if the Cognos server version is later than version 8, remove the axis and saaj jar files from the <MM_Agent_Home>\MetadataManagerAgent\java\CognosRepository\ location.

PowerCenter
This section describes the PowerCenter changes in version 10.2 HotFix 2.
Pushdown Optimization for SAP HANA
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, you must have a license to use the SAP HANA ODBC subtype in ODBC connections. If you do not have a license, a warning message appears. The sessions do not fail in version 10.2 HotFix 2. However, Informatica will start failing sessions in a future release. if you use the SAP HANA ODBC subtype connection without a license. Hence, Informatica recommends that you contact Informatica Global Customer Support to get a license.
PowerExchange Adapters for Informatica
This section describes changes to Informatica adapters in version 10.2 HotFix 2.
PowerExchange for MongoDB
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, the Schema Editor is no longer available in the following directory:
Informatica installation directory>/clients/tools/mongodb/Tools
To use the Schema Editor on a Windows machine, apply the Informatica EBF-13871.

PowerExchange for Salesforce
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 2, the null values in the source are treated as null in the target.
Previously, the null values in the source were treated as false in the target.

PowerExchange for Snowflake
Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 1, PowerExchange for Snowflake has the following changes:
- • You can override the database and schema name used while importing the tables through the Snowflake connection. To override, enter the database and schema name in the Additional JDBC URL Parameters field in the Snowflake connection properties in the following format: DB=<DB_name>&Schema=<schema_name>
Previously, you could specify an override for the database and schema name only in the session properties.
- • You can read or write data that is case-sensitive or contains special characters. You cannot use the following special characters: @ ~ \
Previously, you had to ensure that the source and target table names contained only uppercase letters.
- •PowerExchange for Snowflake uses the Snowflake JDBC driver version 3.6.26.
Previously, PowerExchange for Snowflake used the Snowflake JDBC driver version 3.6.4.
- •When you run a custom query to read data from Snowflake, the Integration Service runs the query and the performance of importing the metadata is optimized.
Previously, when you configured a custom query to read data from Snowflake, the Integration Service sent the query to the Snowflake endpoint and the number of records to import was limited to 10 records.

PowerExchange for Teradata Parallel Transporter API
Effective in 10.2 HotFix 2, you can run a Teradata ODBC mapping on the AIX machine. You must install the Teradata ODBC driver version 16.20.00.50 or later when you use the Teradata client version 16.20.x.
Previously, you could not run a Teradata ODBC mapping on the AIX machine when you used the Teradata ODBC driver versions earlier than 16.20.00.50.
