Asset Revision
Content managers might need to update a Glossary asset based after it is approved. To update an asset content managers can revise published or rejected assets.
When content managers revise a published or rejected glossary asset, the Analyst tool creates another version of the asset. Content managers must complete the approval of the asset before the data steward can publish the changes. Glossary consumers see the current version of the asset until the data steward publishes the updated version. The updated version of the asset replaces the current asset.
Revising an Asset
Content managers create a revision of published or rejected assets to update information in the properties.
1. Open the asset that you want to revise.
The Analyst tool displays the business term, category, or policy in the Glossary workspace.
2. In the Actions menu, click Create a Revision.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
3. Confirm that you want to create a revision.
