Standardizing Data Summary
In this lesson, you learned that you can standardize data to remove errors and inconsistencies in the data.
You learned that you can use a Standardizer transformation to standardize strings in an input column. You also learned that you can view mapping output using the Data Viewer.
You created and configured the All_Customers_Stdz_tgt data object to contain standardized output. You created a mapping to standardize the data. In this mapping, you configured a Standardizer transformation to standardize the Address1 column in the All_Customers data object. You configured the mapping to write the standardized output to the All_Customers_Stdz_tgt data object. Finally, you ran the mapping and used the Data Viewer to view the standardized data in the All_Customers_Stdz_tgt data object.
